My cats have never let me brush them before. I did put a little catnip on it before using it on them, so they wouldn't be afraid of it. It worked! They loved it. I run my hand along it as if I'm just petting them, so that made it better for them. Just in time for shedding season and they shed a lot! They are short-hair cats.
My sister's cat can't get enough of this brush. She loves being brushed with this. She just rolls around from one side to the other and even lets me brush her belly! It takes a ton of hair off which means less furballs so that is an added benefit. 😁
First brush I’ve had that my cat (or any cat) will let me use on him, without attacking it. He was a little leery at first. Did the whole batting at it and trying to bite it. After a bit though, he let me get in a few actual passes with the brush. Then some more. Now he lets me brush his tummy, his tail, and even his head. The push button to clean out the fur from the brush works pretty good. Definitely makes clean-up easier. Good comfortable handle. Very happy.
I have three cats and during the summer months they need help shedding their winter coat. One of my cats has such thick fur, I was serious considering just washing her to get all the fur off her. I bought this comb as a last resort since all my other ones my cats hate. They keep bugging me to brush them on a daily basis! The only issue I have is getting all the fur cleaned out. The back panel doesn’t get all the fur off but I take more time to get all the strands off.
